UNITED PIPPED TO TOP IN PENULTIMATE WORLD UNITED 5K ROUND

The drama won’t stop until the very end in the World United 5k Runners League! Out of almost nowhere, Corinthians fans have signed up in droves and driven their club back to the top! Will they be crowned champions next week! It’s the last chance saloon for anyone who wants to catch them!

Fancying their chances will be Manchester United over a big weekend, but does anyone else have a chance? Real Madrid have climbed to 3rd and are the team with momentum in the top half? They’re closely followed by Liverpool who seem to have run out of steam after their recent surge. Rounding out the penultimate top 5 are Los Cules of Barcelona. Will we see enough fans pounding the street this weekend to see an unlikely champion crowned?

There seems to have been something in the South Atlantic water this weekend as much like their Paulista rival, Rio de Janeiro’s Flamengo have flown back up as high as 6th. Manchester City and Porto settle for 7th and 8th respectively. PSG and Sunderland both fall but stay in the top 10.

Tottenham will be confident of being the highest placed London club as they sit in 11th, does England’s capitol have any more runners for us? Glasgow Rangers float at 12th far ahead of Celtic, is it too late for the Bhoys to battle for bragging rights? It’s up to their supporters now!

Newcastle United and Napoli sit above them and below them like Inter Miami’s faltering flamingos and River Plate of Buenos Aires. Bayern Munich and Girona make up the bottom 2 yet again. It’s not too late for change!
